At Mobile Technologies, Hayden evolved from an intermediate developer to Principal Software Engineer over nearly a decade. Working in a small SaaS environment required a broad, hands-on role — from full-stack development to devops. He contributed to a range of products using technologies including Objective-C, Xamarin, Android (Java), C#, C++, Ruby on Rails, and Angular.


Mobile Data Anywhere

A cloud-based data collection platform enabling mobile form submissions via smartphones. As Principal Developer, Hayden led the development and maintenance of the mobile apps, web application, AWS-hosted microservices, and supporting infrastructure.


Mobile Data Anywhere Designer

A drag-and-drop IDE for creating digital forms. Originally a .NET/C++ desktop app, Hayden modernized the experience using AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery while maintaining the legacy codebase.


Concept 2 Completion

A modern AngularJS-based rewrite of a legacy PHP application. Developed responsive and interactive components including a document management system with Dropbox-style UI using Bootstrap and jQuery.


Aurizon

Developed an enterprise Xamarin-based mobile app for data collection in the field. The app enabled users to capture timestamps, photos, GPS data, and more, supporting job tracking in real time.

An offline, cross-platform music app designed for syncing music from desktop to mobile. Inspired by a growing interest in the iPod-style user experience, this project aims to revive personal music libraries without the need for desktop software installation.

QR Scanner (R&D)

Explored the development of a secure QR code scanning app with a focus on user safety. The project aimed to detect and mitigate potentially malicious content within scanned QR data before triggering any device actions or user interaction. Built using React Native to support both iOS and Android platforms.

Explored multiple vertical slice prototypes in Godot using GDScript and C#. Now focused on a long-term game project, with plans to release a public alpha in the future.
